Course Description

This course aims to enhance understanding and knowledge to manage and redirect challenging behaviours effectively, set boundaries and build stronger relationships while maintaining the personal well-being of both the respondent and the person exhibiting such behaviours.

  • Skills for Effective Communication: Enhancing listening, empathy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Techniques of observing, interpreting, and modifying challenging behaviours.

  • Crisis Management: Skills to handle emergencies and high-stress situations.

  • Cultivating Patience and Reflection: Building personal endurance for managing challenging situations.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of challenging behaviours, technique to deal with such behaviours efficiently. The learning will also emphasise self-care and wellbeing in the face of difficult encounters, thus making it a valuable instrument for anyone dealing with challenging behaviours.
